    Privacy Policy

How AdCat collects, uses, and protects your information — in plain language, kept as short as we honestly can.

Last updatedJune 6, 2026Applies to adcat.ai and the AdCat app

The short version: AdCat collects the account, billing, and campaign data needed to turn your website into live Meta ads. We don’t sell your data, we don’t use it against you, and you can export or delete it whenever you like.

    01

    Overview

AdCat LLC (“AdCat,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) builds advertising software that turns a website URL into a live Meta ad campaign in minutes. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website, create an account, or use the AdCat product, how we use it, and the choices you have.

We keep our data practices deliberately small. We collect what we need to run your campaigns and keep your account secure — and nothing we can’t explain in a sentence. If anything here is unclear, email us at privacy@adcat.ai and a real person will answer.

    02

    Information We Collect

We collect information in three ways: what you give us, what we generate to run the product, and what your browser sends automatically.

    Account details
Your name, email address, and password (stored hashed). Optionally your business name and the website URL you want to advertise.
    Billing information
Handled by our payment processor (Stripe). We store a customer ID, the last four digits of your card, and your plan status — never full card numbers.
    Campaign data
The ad copy, creatives, audiences, budgets, and goals generated for or edited by you, plus performance metrics returned by Meta.
    Connection tokens
Encrypted OAuth tokens that let AdCat publish and manage campaigns on your connected Meta Ads account.
    Usage & device data
IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and basic interaction events — used to keep the service reliable and secure.

We do not collect or sell sensitive personal information, and we don’t buy personal data about you from third parties to enrich your profile.

    03

    How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for a short, specific list of purposes:

    • To run the product — analyze your URL, generate ad creatives, build audiences, and publish and manage campaigns on your behalf.
    • To bill you — process subscription payments, manage trials, and handle refunds or cancellations.
    • To support you — respond to your messages, troubleshoot issues, and send service-related notices like billing receipts and campaign alerts.
    • To improve AdCat — understand which features are used so we can make the product better. We use aggregated, de-identified data wherever possible.
    • To keep things secure — detect fraud, prevent abuse, and protect your account and ours.

We use aggregated, de-identified campaign data to improve AdCat’s ad generation models and category intelligence. We will never use your data in a way that directly benefits a named competitor or exposes your individual campaign performance to other users.

    04

    Your Meta Connection

AdCat connects to your Meta Ads account through Meta’s official OAuth flow. When you connect, you grant AdCat permission to create and manage ads, audiences, and campaigns inside the ad account you select.

    • We request only the permissions needed to publish and manage your campaigns.
    • Your access tokens are encrypted at rest and used solely to act on your behalf.
    • You can disconnect your Meta account at any time from Settings → Meta connection, which revokes our access.

Your use of Meta’s platform is also governed by Meta’s own terms and data policies. AdCat’s use and transfer of information received from Meta APIs adheres to the Meta Platform Terms and Developer Policies.

    05

    Advertising & Pixel Data

To measure how your ads perform, you can install the Meta pixel on your website. AdCat provides general guidance on pixel setup, but installation and configuration are your responsibility. The pixel is a small snippet of code that reports conversion events — like purchases or sign-ups — back to Meta and to your AdCat dashboard.

    • The pixel collects data about visitors to your website, where you are the controller of that data.
    • AdCat reads aggregated conversion and attribution metrics so we can report results and optimize your budget.
    • We never use one customer’s pixel data to benefit another customer’s campaigns.

You are responsible for disclosing pixel and cookie usage to your own website visitors and for obtaining any consent required in your jurisdiction.

Users are responsible for ensuring that any website URLs, brand assets, or materials submitted to AdCat do not infringe third-party intellectual property rights.

    06

    Cookies & Tracking

On the AdCat website and app, we use a minimal set of cookies and similar technologies:

    • Essential cookies keep you logged in and remember your preferences. The product won’t work without these.
    • Analytics cookies help us understand which pages and features are used, in aggregate.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent you from logging in or using parts of AdCat.

    07

    How We Share Information

We don’t sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers and parties needed to run AdCat:

    • Meta — to publish and manage your campaigns and retrieve performance data.
    • Stripe — to process payments and manage subscriptions.
    • Infrastructure & tooling providers — hosting, email delivery, error monitoring, and analytics, each under contract to protect your data.
    • PostHog — for product analytics and usage tracking, under contract to protect your data.
    • Legal & safety — when required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
    • Business transfers — if AdCat is involved in a merger or acquisition, your information may transfer as part of that deal, subject to this policy.
    08

    Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we delete or de-identify your personal data within 30 business days or less, except where we must retain certain records — like billing history — to meet legal, tax, or accounting obligations.

You can request earlier deletion at any time — see how to request data deletion, or review Your Rights & Choices.

    09

    Data Security

We protect your data with encryption in transit and at rest, scoped access controls, and regular security reviews. OAuth tokens and other secrets are encrypted with keys we rotate on a schedule.

No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to keep yours safe — and if a breach ever affects your data, we’ll notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.

    10

    Your Rights & Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

    • Access the personal information we hold about you.
    • Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
    • Delete your personal information, subject to legal exceptions — see how to request data deletion.
    • Export a copy of your data in a portable format.
    • Opt out of non-essential analytics and marketing emails.

To exercise any of these, email privacy@adcat.ai. We’ll verify your request and respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. We won’t discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

    11

    International Users

AdCat is operated from the United States, and your information is processed there. If you access AdCat from outside the U.S., you understand your information will be transferred to and stored in the United States, where data-protection laws may differ from those in your country. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

    12

    Children’s Privacy

AdCat is a business tool intended for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

    13

    Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as AdCat evolves. When we make material changes, we’ll update the “Last updated” date above and, for significant changes, notify you by email or in the app. Continuing to use AdCat after an update means you accept the revised policy.
